SUNDAY SESSIONS

Likened to Creative Church, these sessions are guided by Natalia and are an opportunity to dive deep, connect and ask questions. Expect reflective and explorative exercises based in art and writing. The overlap between life and art is showcased in these nourishing calls.

Exploring Death. Special Guest Cara Walker from Walker Family Funerals talks about preparing for death well, ritual and ceremony for the living and the deceased. Photographer Clare Wise shares a docuseries of a death ceremony in Varanasi on the river Ganga. Accompanied by friend Keshav, Indian tattoo artist who explains Moksha.

Amie McNee - writer and creative badass joins us for a Q+A about creative living and her new book We Need Your Art.Ā

Natalia gives a brief introduction to the colour wheel, an exercise in colour swatching (so you can broaden your colour palette) and then a reflective exercise about you as a colour wheel.

Autumn edition includes a little warm up exercise with Jarrah blooms, an intuitive adventure paint, followed by some journalling to reflect on the change of season, and a little light hearted destruction to end the session!

We went off plan today and did a light hearted potato print class. Limit your colours, and challenge yourself to find fun, and your own expression within the simple limitations (or endless possibilities?) of the humble spud. You might be surprised!

For those days when you need to centre and ground, Natalia shares two different meditative and relaxing art-based exercises. Which one do you prefer?Ā

Taking stock of 2024. Bring a journal, art materials and perhaps some tissues. Natalia goes through a few different exercises to reflect on the year that was - and a novel way to help you know how to thrive in 2025.Ā
